I Did Not Print Out Last Weeks Playlist

So, amongst the many things I do on a Friday, such as taking a long sigh as I begin my "Monday" at work. I somehow forgot to transcribe/ photo copy last Fridays play list. I can tell you a few things I did play though. And I can make you an even better list of tunes to play to get you all excited for your real Halloween that is tomorrow, October 31st 2007.

I'm sorry I let you down reader, whoever you are out there... This is for you

What I really really know I played in a very random order:

Fiery Furnaces -"Navy Nurse" this song should be stuck in your head because "if there's anything you can have enough of" it's this song.
Joanna Newsome- "Peach Plumb Pear"
The Blow- "The Moon is Here"
Band of Horses- "Islands on the Coast"
The Clash- "Lost In a Supermarket" for the love of Allen Ginsberg
Devendra Banhart "Seahorse"
Interpol- "Lief Erickson"
Mum- I really don't know, Track #2 of the new Mum. Though all of it is good.
and I played a rock block of Radiohead which included: Karma Police, There There, and I Might Be Wrong

I also played a track off In Rainbows but I suggest that you listen to "Jigsaw Falling Into Place"

Here are my recommendations:

"Thriller" by none other than Michael Jackson
"Nightmare on my Street" -Will Smith
"I'm Sorry I Sang on Your Hands That Must Have Been in the Grave" - Sunset Rubdown
"Pearbone" - Animal Collective, because this band has great animal costumes
and
"Hold Music"- Architecture in Helsinki because they are playing the WOW Hall this Halloween aka tomorrow in costume. Though I think I might have started that rumor on the costumes and other people have gone with it. There's nothing official about this all.
Finally anything off MIA's new Kala

Thanks reader! Happy Halloween.

KWVA Playlist Launch

This is to the site for my radio show New Noize! Welcome!

New Noize airs every Friday from 12-2 p.m. on 88.1 KWVA, Eugene Oregon

My name is Dj Molisha, I am a Journalism Communication Studies student at the University of Oregon. I have been with KWVA for over one year now and I love my Friday radio spot. I used to be stuck in a stuffy law office and the only thing, sometimes, that got me through the day was listening to KWVA. Hearing the variety of music our station plays makes me excited to explore all there is out there. My format is currently to play new arriving indie music wether it be anything from Klaxons to new Devendra Banhart, to all these bands with an animal in their name. If it's good I will play it. It's like having a mixtape every Friday afternoon. Except I won't dedicate you a love song.

Anyway... I take requests. Comment me here or give me a ring at 541. 346-0645 or even instant message us Dj's at KWVARequests @ aol instant messenger.
